EMI överger drm för skivor
EMI är ett av de sista storbolagen som över drm helt för cd-skivor. Precis som alla deras kunder kom de kanske på att de enda som stoppas av drm på skivor är de som gjort rätt för sig, inte piratkopierarna.
EMI announced that every single CD it sells from now on will be free of DRM, and thus open to personal format shifting, such as the world should be.

EMI verkar inte alls lagt ner användningen av drm-skadade skivor, annat än i USA och i Storbritannien, men de funderar på det:
Like other majors, EMI is steering clear of copy-protected CDs, at least in the United States and the UK. But according to a company representative, the company is still employing the technology in Asia, Latin America and continental Europe. The comments, reported by Reuters, also noted that the company is evaluating its alternatives in the area.
